Great minds, thinking alike

I’ve already remarked on “antiwar” activist George Galloway traveling for the second time to Damascus to grovel before the dictator Bashar Al-Assad. Turns out the neo-Nazi David Duke has just traveled to Damascus to grovel before Assad as well. Here are highlights of Duke’s speech:

It is only in America and around the world, it is only the Zionists who want war rather than peace.

It hurts my heart to tell you that part of my country is occupied by Zionists, just as part of your country, the Golan Heights, is occupied by Zionists.

The Zionists occupy must of the American media and now control much of American government.

It is not just the West Bank of Palestine, it is not just the Golan Heights that are occupied by the Zionists, but Washington DC, and New York, and London, and many other capitals in the world.

Your fight for freedom is the same as our fight for freedom.

Then Duke led the crowd in a rousing anti-Israel chant.

Galloway, in his Damascus speech, congratulated Syria for its support of Hezbollah, Palestinian jihadists and the Iraqi “resistance.” And in a recent interview on Al-Jazeera Nov. 17, Galloway said:

On the last occasion I was re-elected [to Parliament] despite all the efforts made by the British government, the Zionist movement and the newspapers and news media which are controlled by Zionism. I won in the elections held in May.
