The Burmese people are being shot at with Chinese weaponry, and China continues to block condemnations at the UN Security Council. Although a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said this:
China hopes that all parties in Myanmar [sic] exercise restraint and properly handle the current issue so as to ensure the situation there does not escalate and get complicated.
All parties? There is one party and one party only that is failing to show restraint at this moment.
