I haven’t been in the habit of linking to the short previews and CD capsule reviews of mine that appear regularly in Philadelphia Weekly. Putting up links to these short, ephemeral pieces of writing has always struck me as just too cumbersome on a weekly basis. But I’ve changed my mind.
Although I’m preparing to exit Philly, I’m pleased to say that my output for PW will continue as before. So in order to shine a bit more light on the Philly scene and emphasize my ties here, I’ll be linking my PW material — beginning with these two blurbs on Jack Wright and Satoko Fujii, and these reviews of Jen Chapin’s Light of Mine and Patricia Barber’s The Cole Porter Mix.
